To commemorate the month of October with regard to breast cancer, students, interns and doctors from Anwer Khan Modern Medical College (AKMMCH) are hosting a free Breast Cancer screening week, which started on October 25 and will continue till the end of this month. AKMMCH, in association with International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) is also hosting a breast cancer awareness session with the students of the department of pharmacy and mathematics & natural sciences at BRAC University on October 29 at the university campus. Renowned Oncologist and Radiotherapist Md Ehteshamul Hoque, director and Ali Nafisa, assistant professor at the department of surgery, AKMMCH, will be the speakers at the event. BRAC University faculty members of pharmacy and mathematics & natural sciences department are cordially invited as chief guests. It is expected that at least 300 students, interns and doctors will participate in the session, making it one of the largest cancer awareness seminars in the country.
