A person has been killed and four others have been injured in a head-on collision between a CNG-run autorikshaw and a pick-up van at Sipir crossing under Sreepur upazila in Gazipur.
The deceased is Sajeeb, 20, son of Firoz Mia of Shonab village.
Sreepur Model police station SI Rashedul Islam said: “An autorikshaw collided head-on with a pick-up van at Sipir crossing around 11am Sunday, leaving four people injured.”
He said: “Sajeeb died while he was being taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in a critical condition. The others have been treated in different local clinics.”
