Italian Ambassador to Bangladesh Mario Palma has said his country didn't issue any travel advisory to its nationals for Bangladesh.
According to an official handout, Palma said this when he called on Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon at secretariat on Monday, reports BSS.
The Italian Ambassador was accompanied by French Ambassador in Dhaka Sophie Auber.
"We didn't issue any travel advisory for our nationals," said the envoy.
Terming the Tavella murder as unfortunate, the Italian Ambassador said: "We want to see the ongoing investigation regarding the killing will be completed effectively".
Regarding killing of foreign nationals here, the French envoy said they are waiting for completion of the ongoing investigation to see the real fact behind these murders.
