A life-term sentenced prisoner has died at Kashimpur Central Jail in Gazipur.
Deceased Shahjahan Molla, 48, was son of Md Momotaj Uddin Molla of Kapasia upazila.
Deputy Jailer Md Mushfiqur Rahman said Shahjahan complained of chest pain on Monday morning.
"He was taken to jail hospital and later shifted to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College where the on-duty doctor declared him dead," he added.
