A total of 70,000 Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrims returned from Saudi Arabia in the last 20 days.
The post-Hajj return flights will continue till 28 October, 2015.
Tasmin Akter, assistant manager (PR) of the national flag carrier said the Biman Bangladesh carried all the pilgrims through regular flights.
Hajj flights began on August 16 and continued till 17 September.
This year, a total of 1,01758 pilgrims performed Hajj from Bangladesh. Of them the Biman carried 51,000 while the rest were ferried by Saudi Airlines. A total of 285 dedicated flights were operated by the national flag carrier and 61 scheduled flights for carrying the pilgrims.
