A man and his daughter have been killed as a truck knocked down their motorcycle at Singiya in Jessore.
The deceased are Insan Ali Hawladar, 52, and his daughter Farzana Akhter Shumi.
Naowapara highway police station OC KM Azizul Islam said: “The accident took place when Insan was returning to Jessore from Khulna with his daughter around 7:30am Friday. Both of them died on the spot.”
He said truck helper Sohan has been detained along with the truck.
