A fire has broken out at a garments factory in Tongi's Kha Para road area in Gazipur district.
The fire broke out at the medical center of Season Dresses Limited around 7:30am Friday and soon engulfed the other floor.
Gazipur Fire Service Deputy Assistant Director (DAD) Akhtaruzzaman Liton said: “On information, three units from Tongi Fire Station went to the spot and doused the blaze after a frantic effort of an hour.”
He said the amount of loss incurred in the fire could not be estimated yet.
