Another victim who sustained 50% burn injures in an explosion resulting from leakage of a gas burner in the capital's Ashkona area died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
The deceased is Rehana Akhter, 40, wife of Saudi Arabia expatriate Abul Kashem, said DMCH police outpost In-charge Muzammel Haque.
He said Rehana succumbed to her injuries at the burn unit of the hospital around 11:30am on Thursday.
Earlier in the day, a domestic help who sustained 45% burn injures in the same incident succumbed to her injuries at DMCH.

On Sunday, five members of a family including their housemaid Sakina, received burn injuries in a blast resulting from gas burner leakage.
Rehana’s son Tanvir Ahmed Nily, 12, was undergoing treatment at the burn unit of the hospital.
