Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has agreed to declassify files related to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, which analysts consider a dramatic u-turn of New Delhi’s long-time stance.
The process of declassification of files relating to Netaji will begin on January 23, 2016, Subhas Babu’s birth anniversary, Modi announced after a meeting with his family on Wednesday, reports Times of India.
“I told Subhas Babu’s family members - please consider me a part of your family,” Modi said after the meeting.
