A non-government commission is going to be formed for the selection of teachers for secondary school and Ebtedai levels, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid has said.
He made the statement while addressing a press conference at the Education Ministry on Wednesday afternoon.
The minister said: “Non-Government Teachers' Selection Commission will take the examination of the teachers of secondary school and Ebtedai levels. However, the final appointment will be given to the teachers by the directorial board of the respective school.”
Non-Government Teachers Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) which is presently working for the appointment of the teachers will be dissolved, he added.
