The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) yesterday summoned Dhaka District Council administrator Hasina Doula for alleged involvement in embezzling Tk100 crore in the name of different projects.
ACC Deputy Director M Towfiqul Islam served the notice and asked Hasina Doula to appear before the commission on October 21, said an official of the commission requesting anonymity.
The notice says that if she fails to appear, legal actions will be taken against her.
In another notice, the commission asked the Local Government Ministry to provide a copy of the report of an investigation carried into the alleged corruption of Hasina Doula and others officials of the district council in connection with tender notices.
