Gaibandha MP Manjurul Islam Liton will be arrested soon if he does not surrender before the court, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said.
He made the statement while addressing a press conference at the secretariat on Thursday afternoon.
Answering to a query about Liton's arrest, the minister said: “He is absconding. If he does not surrender before the court soon, then the law enforcers will conduct drives and arrest him."

An eight-year-old boy was shot thrice by the ruling party lawmaker of Gaibandha’s Sundarganj when the child was jogging with his uncle on October 2.

Taking about the base of BNP-Jamaat's involvement with foreigner murders, he said: “Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her son Sajeeb Wazed have analysed the current situation before mentioning about their names.”
