Two people have been killed as their motorbike collided head-on with an ambulance at Boharampur area under Rajshahi city's Rajpara police station.
The deceased were identified as Mamunur Rashid, 44, son of Siraj of Guripara and Montu Hossain, 40, son of Mazdar of Shampur under Rajpara police station.
Mahmudur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Rajpara police station confirmed that the incident took place at 11.30am Wednesday at Boharampur area.
Locals rushed the injured to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital where the attending doctors declared them dead, OC Mahmudur also said.
A case was filed with the police station in this connection, he also added.
