The members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) have detained two Bangladeshi coal labourers near Taherpur border in the district.
They are Ali Hossain, 17, and Haque Mia, 18.
Sunamganj 8 Border Guard Bangladesh Commander Lt Col Golam Mahiuddin said: “The BSF jawans picked Ali and Haque up on Wednesday morning while they were trying to enter illegally to Indian territory through Taherpur border for extracting coal.”
The BGB official said they were negotiating with the BSF authorities for bringing back the detainees.
