A Rangpur court has granted a ten-day remand to two suspects in the Japanese national Hoshi Kunio murder case.

Judge Abu Taleb made the order on Tuesday in reply to a ten-day remand plea of police, Rangpur ADC Jainal Abedin told the Dhaka Tribune.

The two accused are local BNP leader Habibunnabi Khan Shohel's brother Rashidunnabi Khan Biplob and businessman Humayun Kabir Hira who was trade partner of Hoshi.

On Saturday, some unidentified miscreants gunned down Japanese national Hoshi Kunio, 65, in Kownia of Rangpur district.
