Two army personnel have been killed and two others injured as the driver of an army vehicle lost control over its steering and plunged into a roadside ditch at Khutkhali area of Sadar upazila of the district.
The identities of the deceased are soldier Nayem, 30, and soldier Shafiqur, 28. They were on duty in Ramu Army camp of the district.
The mishap took place at Khutkhli area of Chittagong- Cox’s Bazaar road around 8pm on Sunday.
The injured were being taken to Chittagong Combined Military Hospital.
Malumghat highway police station In-charge SI Anwar Hossain said the driver of army vehicle lost control over its steering and fell into a roadside ditch, leaving two died on the spot and two other injured.
