At least three people have been killed and 10 others injured when a bus plunged into a roadside ditch in Matubhuiyan area under Daganbhuyia upazila in Feni.
The deceased could not be identified immediately.
OC Azimuddin of Daganbhuyia police station said the driver of the passenger bus of Sugandha Paribahan from Noakhali lost his control over the steering around 6:30pm Monday while giving side to a motorcycle. Thirteen people received severe injuries in the incident.
The injured were taken to Daganbhuiya Upazila Health Complex and Feni Sadar Hospital.
RMO Asim Saha of Feni Sadar Hospital told the Dhaka Tribune that one injured died on the way to the hospital. "Two others died after they were admitted to the hospital."
