One person have been killed and at least 30 injured as a bus plunged into roadside ditch at Laskarpur area in Bahubal upazila of Habiganj on Sunday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Bakkar Ali, hailing from Gazipur.
OC Ezazur Rahman of Shayestaganj highway police said the Dhaka-bound bus from Sylhet lost control on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway and into the ditch around 5pm.
On information, highway police rushed to the spot immediately and rescued 30 passengers as injured.
The police took the injured to Bahubal Upazila Health Complex, where 15 of them were admitted in critical condition.
