Five Bangladeshi nationals are among the Hajj pilgrims killed in Mina in a stampede during Hajj, family members of the victims claimed.
The deceased are Firoza Khanam of Jamalpur, Julia Begum, 45, of Sunamganj, Tahera Begum, 63, her brother Noor Nabi, of Feni, and Abdul Latif, 70, of Comilla.
Bangladeshi Hajj official in Saudi Arabia Md Asaduzzaman said Khandakar Mazharul Islam of Jamalpur informed them that his mother Firoza Khaman died in the tragic incident.

Julia Begum's husband from Sunamganj Badrul Huda Mukul confirmed the death of his wife.
Abdul Hannan, president of Feni Journalists' Association, who is a relative of Tahera Begum and Noor Nabi said Noor Nabi's son from Saudi Arabia informed him about the deaths.
Our correspondent of Comilla reported quoting locals the family of Abdul Latif is completely grief-stricken as they received the news from his son Abul Kalam, who went with parents.
Khokan Master, a local at Gazaria village of Chouddagram, said Abul Kalam was holding hands of his parents.
When stampede began, he lost hold of both, and later he found his father dead and mother injured in the hospital.
However, any official confirmation about the deaths of Bangladeshi nationals in the Mina stampede is yet to be made.

At least 717 pilgrims were killed on Thursday in a crush at Mina, outside the Muslim holy city of Mecca, where some two million people are performing the annual Haj pilgrimage, Saudi authorities said.
At least 805 others were injured in the stampede, which took place on Street 204 of the camp city at Mina, a few kilometers east of Mecca, where pilgrims stay for several days during the climax of the Haj.
