A 52-year-old woman has gone missing while talking bath in Ghaghat river in the district's Sadullapur upazila.
Tara Banu, wife of Azizul Haque, of Patilyakura-Chakadariya village, disappeared after she went down to take a bath in the river due to strong current on Monday afternoon, said the locals.
Jamalpur union chairman Rezaul Karim Reza, quoting family members, said: “The incident occurred around 1:30pm. We have launched a number of drives to rescue her, but she remained missing till 7pm.”
