Detective Branch (DB) of police have arrested 17 members of doping gangs from different areas of Dhaka.
The identity of the arrestees could not be ascertained yet.
Montasirul Islam, deputy commissioner of DMP, confirmed the matter to the Dhaka Tribune.
He said a large number of tablets and other equipment were seized from their possession on Sunday.
Details regarding the matter will be disclosed in a press briefing later in the day.
