BNP standing committee member Moudud Ahmed's only son Aman Moudud has died early Tuesday. He was 38.
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's press wing member Shairul Kabir Khan said Aman died when he was being flown to Singapore by an air ambulance from United Hospital around 4:40am Tuesday.
Aman had been admitted to United Hospital on September 9 where he was diagnosed with dengue.
Doctors at the hospital had advised to take him to abroad for better treatment as his condition was deteriorating.
