Per capita foreign debt stood at $169 equivalent to Tk13,160 as of June 30 in the fiscal year 2014-15 with country's total public sector loan reaching $25.908billion equivalent to Tk2,07,264.50 crore.
State Minister for Finance and Planning MA Mannan told this in the Jatiya Sangsad Thursday while replying to a question from treasury bench member Noorjahan Begum.
The state minister said the country's debt with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) is Tk61,850.56 crore, China Tk7,356.08 crore, International Development Association (IDA) Tk1,02,343.50 crore, International Development Bank (IDB) Tk3,358.21 crore, Denmark Tk869.21, Japan Tk19,376.18 crore, India Tk1,657.45 crore, South Korea Tk2,791.78 crore, Kuwait Tk1,075.46 crore, IFAD Tk2,935.39 crore and others Tk3,650.72 crore.
