Three Bangladeshi expatriates have been killed and two injured in a road accident in the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
The deceased have been identified as Md Farhad and Ilias – hailing from Chittagong's Raujan, and Akhtar Hossain who was from Hathazari.
The accident took place around 7am local time near Abu Dhabi's Al Ain area while the men were on their way to work, Md Arman Ullah Chowdhury, labour counsellor at the Bangladesh Embassy in Abu Dhabi, told the Dhaka Tribune.
The fatalities occurred when the car they were on lost control and veered off the road, he added.
