Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh has awarded 10 outstanding young people of Bangladesh for their proficiency in their chosen fields that is bringing positive change .
The JCI Bangladesh hosted the JCI Ten Outstanding Young Persons of Bangladesh (JCI TOYP) Awards ceremony on Friday, presenting high nods to the young people who are serving the nation at their best.

Minhaz Anwar
Minhaz Anwar, one of the pioneers of the Bangladesh startup movement, is the founder of Better Stories, an ideas agency based in Dhaka. Minhaz, a self-proclaimed startup activist, calls himself an opportunity broker for the less advantaged.
Korvi Rakshand
Korvi Rakshand is the founder and chairman of the JAAGO Foundation, a civil society he founded in 2007. With JAAGO, he works to provide a long-run support infrastructure to several disadvantaged groups in Bangladesh. It began with a free-of-cost school that now runs classes for nearly 600 students. He is also the president of Volunteer for Bangladesh, a nationwide association of youth volunteer groups with over 12,000 volunteers. He is also a co-founder of The Wave, a co-working space for young people to work on their ideas. In 2014, Korvi was ranked 5th in a top 10 list of inspirational Bangladeshis by British Bangladeshi Power & Inspiration 100.
Samira Zuberi Himika
Samira Zuberi Himika is the founder of team engine. She is an entrepreneur, development sector and communications specialist, campaigner, and a vocalist. This revolutionary entrepreneur says the notion behind "team engine" is they have brought forth a platform where they are helping policy makers, individuals, the private sector, and the government as well to interconnect and work with each other to make a better working system.
Ivy Huq Russell
Ivy Huq Russell is the founder of Maya, home to a large number of Bangladeshi women to gain knowledge about themselves, their health, and get support. The former investment banker founded Maya with a vision to empower women by giving them access to information and a shared community.
ABM Hamidul Mishbah
ABM Hamidul Mishbah is a Supreme Court lawyer. He is also the Project Director at IP Plus Law Clinic, a Legal Aid Centre run and managed by The Bangladesh Copyright & IP Forum.
Nahim Razzaq
Nahim Razzaq, the son of the late Awami League leader Abdur Razzaq, has also been elected Member of Parliament twice from Shariatpur-3. Nahim, who studied Business and Marketing at Middlesex University, UK, returned home with a view to serve the nation. He is also a convener at Young Bangla.
Rasheq Rahman
Rasheq, along with his two best friends – Mahmudur Rahman Sasha and Bayzid Ghani – established intellectual property rights/ copyrights for the music industry of Bangladesh four years ago.
Akhi Alamgir
Akhi Alamgir, daughter of the noted Bangla movie actor Alamgir, is one of the most popular Bangladeshi singers. She started her career as a playback singer and her first album, titled "Prothom Koli," was released in 1997 when she was a class 12 student.
Qantara K Khan
Qantara K Khan is a faculty member at The School of Business, Independent University Bangladesh. She is the daughter of Faruk Khan, the former Bangladesh minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism.
Shakib Al Hasan
Shakib, a talented left-hand batsman and left-arm spinner, is inarguably the best cricketer that Bangladesh has ever produced. He became the only cricketer in history to attain the #1 All-Rounder ranking in all three forms of cricket in 2015.
