Third victim of Ashulia gas lighter factory fire dies

“Joly sustained 30% burns in the blaze. She died around 9am on Monday,” Dr Partha Shankar Paul, a resident burns unit surgeon of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), told the Dhaka Tribune. A total of 26 workers were injured in the fire that broke out at Colour Match BD Ltd on November 22. Of the injured, three have now died at DMCH’s burn unit.
