The rail communications of Khulna with the entire country has resumed after around 10 hours.
GRP police station OC Molla Afzal said: "The rail communications was resumed around 3pm."
Earlier in the dat, the rail service was halted after two bogies of a freight train derailed in the district's Daulatpur area around 6:25am.
Operating Manager of Railway Khulna Zone Sarder Mohammad Abul Kalam said the incident suspended rail communications of the district with other parts of the country.
“The service of six trains to different district's became uncertain due to the derailment.”
