Two persons, accused of committing crimes against humanity during the War of Liberation, have been arrested from Purbadhala upazila in the district.
The arrestees are Abdur Rahman, 80, of village Barha-Gonakpara and Ahmed Hussain, 78, of village Sunaikandi under Purbadhala upazila, reports BSS.
Joydeb Chowdhory, superintendent of police (SP) of the district, said two separate teams of Netrakona district police and district detective branch jointly raided their houses and picked them up on Wednesday.
The duo will be produced before the ICT, he added.
