Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of the US has offered Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) to assist it to investigate into the killing incident of secular blogger Niladri Chatterjee Niloy.
DMP Deputy Commissioner (media) Muntasirul Islam told this to the Dhaka Tribune on Saturday.
“The FBI has expressed interest to help DMP probe into the murder of blogger Niloy,” said Muntasirul.
Niloy was killed by unidentified assailants at his Goran residence in Dhaka on Friday.

A group named Ansar Al Islam, believed to be banned militant group Ansarullah Bangla Team, has claimed responsibility for the murder.
