A convicted prisoner has died at Habiganj district jail.
Deceased Nur Alam is the son of Abdul Haque of Madhabpur upazila.
Jailer Shamim Iqbal said Nur Alam was taken to the jail hospital after he complained of chest pain on Saturday morning.
"He was shifted to Habiganj Sadar Adhunik Hospital were on-duty doctor declare dhim dead," said the jailer.
He was awarded life term imprisonment in a murder case.
