Two hijras have been killed and two others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Dokanghar area under Begamjanj upazila in Noakhali.
The deceased are Madhuri, 26, and Nupur, 30.
Begamganj Model police station Sub-Inspector Nurul Amin said: “Two hijras were killed in the accident which took place on Chowmuhani-Feni road around 9:15am Friday.”
He said their bodies and the injured have been sent to Noakhali Abdul Malek Hospital.
