Exploring the CORE

Inception:

The Professional Fellowship Program (PFP) was funded by US Department of State, and was implemented in the US by Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication and University of Oklahoma (OU). In Bangladesh, BRAC Business School's Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED) acted as the implementing partner of OU (for the entire program's Bangladesh related activities). The total length of the fellowship program was 40 Days.

It was truly an honor to be a part of the Professional Fellowship Program (PFP) as an emerging youth leader from Bangladesh. We came across wonderful people, numerous brilliant ideas and gained priceless experiences, which helped me both personally and professionally. I divided the program into three phases: explore, excite and engage.

In the first week, we explored some great ideas and possibilities, The second week was pure bliss and excitement, as we engaged and played around with these ideas. The final week was focused on implementation, as the idea of creating a sustainable global youth networking platform began to form.

The idea of launching CORE globally was decided. CORE (Creating Opportunities & Responsibilities for Entrepreneurs) engaged all 222 professional fellows from 44 countries and 5 continents in 1 particular global youth networking platform. The platform was launched under the Professional Fellows Congress at Washington DC.

How does CORE Global work?

The idea is to create a networking platform where we can engage people of different countries and culture, which will create a bridge among entrepreneurs and global startups.

In addition, CORE Global will create a sustainable platform in the areas of entrepreneurship development, leadership empowerment, empowering women, climate change and creating sustainable global startups.

CORE Global believes in creating a positive impact towards the society and contribute for a better world through promoting youth leaders.

What is CORE Global working on now?

Currently, CORE is promoting “Impact Investment” projects for youth leaders, by providing idea implementation and provision of funds for the selected projects.

It's really important to be a progressive youth leader to create an impact towards the society. That's why CORE Global gives them the opportunity to connect and collaborate with other youth leaders worldwide.

I want to engage our young generation with my dream. I also believe through this, we can engage with more countries with our sustainable global youth networking platform.
