Standard Chartered Bank Bangladesh recently honoured individuals and institutions with AGROW Awards for setting outstanding examples in the country’s agricultural sector.
Agriculture Minister Matia Chowdhury handed over the awards to the winners. Brac won in the Best Associated Organisation in Support and Execution category; Amar Desh Amar Gram won in the Best Use of Technology in Agriculture category; and Lal Teer Seed Ltd in Best Associated Organisation in Innovation and Research category.
Three winners in Farmer of the Year categories were handed over a prize money of Tk5 lakh and the honourable mentions Tk50,000.
