The Infrastructure Development Company Limited (Idcol) yesterday signed an agreement with six entities to improve existing renewable energy technologies and explore other viable renewable energy options.
The government-owned financial institution selected six of 79 research and development proposals submitted.
The awardess are Brac University, United International University, Solar E Technology Australia Pty Ltd, Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission and Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
With support from the World Bank, 100% grant funds will be provided to the selected R&D proposals on renewable energy technologies.
