Rail communication on the Dhaka-Sylhet-Chittagong routes has been resumed after two hours' of suspension due to the derailment of a train near Mandabhag station at Kosba upazila of Brahmanbaria.
The derailed train was salvaged around 3:45pm Thursday, Akhaura rail junction Deputy Assistant Engineer Enamul Haque said.
The container train veered off the track around 1:30pm leaving the rail communication on the routes suspended for over two hours.
