Holy Cross’s ex-principal Sister Mary dies

Former principal of Holy Cross College Sister Joseph Mary, CSC, died at Saint Mary’s Convent (Retirement House) at Indiana in the USA.

She was 85.

She breathed her last around 6:50am (BD time) Tuesday, said a press release.

According to the press note, she died of old age complications.

Sister Mary was born on February 14, 1930.

She made a major contribution to the education sector of the country, serving in the field from 1956 till 2014.

She had served her duties as the director of students’ affairs, vice-principal and principal of Holy Cross College.

She was also the coordinator of The Holy Cross Sisters’ Association of Asia.
