A woman has allegedly killed by her nephew in Kishoreganj Sadar upazila.
The deceased is Begum Akter, 47, wife of Sahab Uddin of Noagram village under Chouddasata union.
Police and local sources said Momin Mian, 27, hacked his aunt Aktar by axe over trifling matter around 9pm Sunday while she was sitting in her house, leaving her dead on the spot.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Kishoreganj Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
The police also arrested Momin, said Sadar police station OC Mir Mosarraf Hossain.
