Four persons of a family have been electrocuted at Dhalapara village under Bauphal upazila of the district on Friday.
The victims were identified as Abdul Hye, 50, his two daughters Tina, 22, and Dina, 20, and his younger brother Ibrahim Khan, 45.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bauhal police station Masuduzzaman said Abdul Hye went to the pond to collect floating fish in the water and got electrocuted.
Later, three others were also electrocuted as they tried to save Hye.
