Five people have been killed and 10 others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Boalia area under Ullapara upazila in Sirajganj.
The deceased were identified as Amzad Hossain, 46, Jahangir Master, 25, Ashraful Islam, 26, Mahmudul Hasan, 40, Bokul Hossain, 22.
Ullapara OC AZM Tajul Huda said: “Five people died on the spot in the accident that took place around 8:30am Tuesday."
The injured were admitted to Ullahpara hospital.
