Miscreants have stabbed a person to death at Mirajnagar of the capital's Kadamtali area.
The deceased is Abu Zafar, 42, son of Abu Hanif Khalifa.
DMCH police outpost SI Sentu Chandra Das said miscreants stabbed Abu Zafar in front of the stairs on the ground floor of his residence around 6am Monday.
He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where on-duty doctor declared him dead.
Abu Zafar's wife and elder son were detained from DMCH in connection with the murder.
