Luckily for Rick it’s not the loss of a loved one, but something probably worse. Rapper Rick Ross recently missed out on making a whopping $100,000 this BET Awards weekend because of his kidnapping charges. Ross, whose real name is William Roberts, was arrested by the US Marshals service fugitive task force along with his bodyguard, Nadrian James, who is assumed to be his accomplice. Both were charged on kidnapping, aggravated assault, and aggravated battery charges and were denied bail. Rick Ross established the record label Maybach Music Group in 2009 and has released five albums. He and his girlfriend were preyed in a drive-by shooting in Florida in 2013 but both of them were unhurt.
