Heavy rainfall caused by active monsoon over the country is likely to continue until Sunday, according to Met office forecast.
The meteorological department also issued a warning that landslides may occur at places over the hilly regions of Chittagong division.
Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions.
Country's highest rainfall for the last 24 hours was recorded by 263 millimeters at Cox's Bazar followed by 232 millimeters at Teknaf, 126 millimeters at Barisal and 121 millimeters at Khepupara.

Besides, three people drowned in floodwater in Ramu upazila of Cox's Bazar.
Our correspondents from Bandarban and Cox's Bazar reported that thousands have been marooned in Lama, Alikadam and Naikkhangchhari upazilas of Bandarban and Ramu, Teknaf, Chakaria upazilas of Cox's Bazar district.
Road communications in the districts were also disrupted as the roads went under water.
