6 die in separate Cox's Bazar incidents

At least six people have been killed in separate incidents of tree collapse, landslide, flash flood in the district's Ramu, St Martin's island and Ghonarpar area of the city.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Ramu UNO Masum Hossain told the Dhaka Tribune that two people drowned while another one died after a landslide buried him in Ramu on Friday morning.

On the other hand, two people have been killed in tree collapses after a nor'wester lashed St Martin's island around 12 noon.
