Journalist Anjan Roy has filed a general diary (GD) claiming that he received threat from convicted war criminal Ghulam Azam's son Abdullahhil Amaan Azmi.
He lodged the GD with Shahbagh police station on Sunday.
In the general diary, Anjan Roy mentioned that he gave a Facebook post about establishing a monument in memory of the sacrifice of lives of 4,000 Indian soldiers in the Liberation War of Bangladesh.
In reaction to Anjan's post, Azmi called him “an Indian agent” (Bharater Dalal) and questioned the authenticity about estimated number of the Indian soldiers.
"He [Azmi] gave threat to me by calling me 'anti-state'," Anjan said in the GD.
The journalist expressed apprehension that Azmi could be harmful for him.
He mentioned that he was feeling insecure following the "threat."
