A youth has allegedly been killed by a drunk man in Kishoreganj town.
The deceased is van puller Tajul Islam, 30, son of late Alal Uddin of Manipurghat area.
According to police and local sources, one Shaon, 25, who was drunk at that time stabbed van puller Tajul and college student Shafiqul Islam indiscriminately around 9:30pm Saturday.
Locals rushed Tajul to Kishoreganj 250-bed modern sadar hospital in critical condition where he died around 10pm.
Another injured Shafiqul Islam was admitted to the same hospital.
However, police arrested Shaon with blood stained knife within an hour after the incident.
Kishoreganj sadar OC Mir Mosarraf Hossain said the body was sent to Kishoreganj sadar hospital morgue for autopsy.
