Sonia Hossain, Irin and Shipon star in the new release U-Turn. Directed by Alvi Ahmed, the film is set to release in at least 80 cinemas throughout the country.
Sonia Hossain, the ravishing face from the small screen, is set to debut on the big screen with the role of a poor slum girl who finds herself entangled in the murky water of the criminal underworld. She’s paired up with Shipon, whose debut venture Desha: The Leader had seemingly failed to impress at the box office. Thus, the film appeared as the acid test for both Sonia and Shipon.
On the other hand, Arshad Adnan, the producer, has stepped forward from his producer job by donning a major role in the film.
The other major cast includes Misha Sawdagor, Moutushi Biswas, Irfan Sazzad and Prosun Azad. Fuad Adit and Rokon Emon have composed and directed music for the film while Kona, Nanci and Toufique have lent their voice in all six tracks.
