A Gazipur court has placed suspected ISI member Khalid Mehmood on a three-day remand.
Senior Judicial Magistrate Elina Akter passed the order when police sought 10-day remand, Inspector Rabiul Islam of Gazipur court said.
The Pakistani citizen was arrested from a readymade garment factory named Unilense in Bhangnahati under Sreepur upazila at 7pm on Sunday.
Inspector Mominul Islam of the Special Branch of the Gazipur Superintendent’s office said the Pakistani citizen was illegally infiltrated in the country disguising him in 2014 and took a job at the factory.
Based on a tip-off, he was arrested from the factory and taken to the intelligence office in Gazipur district.
