Father of a drug addicted man has handed him over to police after being feed up over his uncontrolled drug abuse.
Mahatab Hossain of Arani area under Bagha upazila handed this son Hossian, 30, over to police on Saturday.
“Being informed by Mahtab, we detained his son Hossain from his home,” said Bagha police station OC Aminur Rahman.
Hossain, however, was sent to jail after producing before a Rajshahi court in the afternoon.
Mahatab told the Dhaka Tribune that he tried a lot to make his son understand to leave taking drug but day by day his addiction grew up.
