The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecasts that light to moderate rain or thunder showers are likely to occur at many places across the country, beginning at 9am on Wednesday.
"Light to moderate rain or thunder showers are likely to occur at most places over Chittagong and Sylhet divisions," said a weather bulletin issued by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Wednesday morning.
It also forecast that one or two places over Mymensingh, Dhaka, and Barisal divisions may witness a similar situation with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over Chittagong and Sylhet divisions.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, it added.
The bulletin further said that night temperature may fall by 1-2°C over the country, while day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions, and it may fall by 1-2°C elsewhere over the country.
On Tuesday, the highest temperature recorded was 33.0°C in Netrokona, Sylhet and Feni, while the lowest temperature was recorded on Wednesday, 18.5°C in Tetulia.
In Dhaka, the sun will set at 5:17pm on Wednesday and will rise at 6:08am on Thursday.
