Seven passengers of a CNG-run autorickshaw were killed after it was hit by a bus in Mymensingh on Friday afternoon.
The accident occurred around 1:15pm in the East Gandhrapa bypass area of the city.
Confirming the deaths, Mymensingh Kotwali Model police station Officer-in-Charge Shibirul Islam said the accident occurred when a Rajib Paribahan bus travelling from Dhaka to Jamalpur collided head-on with a CNG-run autorickshaw coming from Muktagachha.
The auto-rickshaw went under the bus in the collision, he said.
Seven people, including the autorickshaw driver, were killed at the scene. Their identities have not yet been confirmed.
